Notes

Black rainbow label with oval logo with Stereo above logo. Microgroove on label at 3 O'clock and Long Playing at 9 O'clock

Incredibly rare 'ad back' cover; the LP has the first (withdrawn) track lineup of 'Introducing The Beatles', which included 'Love Me Do' and 'P.S I Love You'. The very first run of 6000 front cover slicks says 'Printed In U.S.A' on the lower left hand corner near the spine. The print quality of the covers is excellent, with sharp photo reproduction and a semi-gloss finish. The exact lineage of the three back covers that Vee Jay produced (ad back, title back, blank back) is not known, and the collecting world has been rife with speculation and theories for years. There are known counterfeits of the stereo 'ad back' cover.

In my opinion of these Introducing The Beatles SHOULD NOT categorised under the Please Please Me as they have been trimmed of 2 tracks for the USA manufacturer process and therefore are not directly a duplicate of the original 14 track EMI master, they may share the same track listing but I think the should not br listed under PPM and instead be listed under their own separate release as they would have been recut to conform with the USA creation process.
