Pulled out my copy of the Stones - Exile on Main St. today for a listen. I always like to check the status and info of what I'm playing that day on Discogs. I've had this album since new (1972) and it never came with the 12 postcards as far as I can . I also see inside the sleeve it is dated 1970?? Could this maybe be the date the sleeve was made as the album was not released until 1972... Thoughts...

Edited 6 years agoI feel like for this album it was more about the journey in acquiring it than about the actual record itself. In my area it was extremely hard to find and fairly expensive; ($30), when I finally obtained a copy. The record was in excellent condition but for the price it had its inner sleeves but no post card (damn). What drew me to this album in the first place was the insanely high reviews surrounding this record and for my love of the stones. Sadly I feel it did not make its mark. Love the song Shine A Light though!
