Joachim Spieth has a bag of traditional production skills and builds up his tracks so well. Under Pressure is arguably too slick to stand out as revolutionary. It is however sublime enough to make a very large footprint whenever you hear it. I guess this is just because it blends into so many styles with that nice rolling bass, the 4/4 kicks and a meloncholic note. -
Fine rocking stuff - Joachim Spieth's "Under Pressure" was already on the Michael Mayer KOMPAKT EXTRA MIX-CD , as well as the original of SUPERTIEL , but as a vinyl 12" release they have far more impact . Spieth's track is a very fine crafted masterpiece , but the SUPERTIEL Remix will tear the roof off from many a dancefloors in the months . EXTRA is the Kompakt special series for modern club techno and this works wonders ..
