I have two copies of this cd, but the textcolor on the spine is different.
Are these two different versions?
IFPI L553 - Blue text on spine
IFPI L555 - Grey text on spine -
Pitchfork said the 2010 remaster is better than the 2018. Analog recorded (Prairie Sun) and remastered by the original mastering master, Bernie Grundman. Sounds like there were quality control issues! Return any defective copies - get a Good one. You know this won a Grammy for best Folk Album in 1999? What the Folk?

Be warned there is a japanese bootleg / unofficial CD version of this album which looks almost official but only has one catalogue number on only one side of the spine bearing the mark: AGA-3125, and with a few spelling and formating mistakes in the inner lyric reprinting sheet. It is being sold as a seemingly official version but does not conform to any version on the Discogs database, and thus is essentially a bootleg.

Just bought the re-master they just did. I heard it is limited to 700 copies so I was considering just leaving it sealed and never looking at it and possibly flipping it down the road. After reading some reviews and how there was a pressing issue, I am concerned. Anyone recommend what I should do? Say screw it and listen and enjoy(know the album well already), open and see condition, or just leave as is. Thanks for any guidance.
