This version is amazing. Great dynamics. Soundstage is nice. Packaging is perfect. Vinyl is flat and quiet. If you love this album, definitely consider it for your collection.

After having seen all of the reviews I was quite convinced to go for di press, it doesn't dissapoint. Great instrument separation, dynamics and overall detail. Although also if I had a sealed copy, at first glance it looked very dirty, cleaned a bit and there are barely and pops, maybe a few on the opening track, but it's so loud you can't really notice them. I raccomend this pressing. -

Edited 3 months agoSomeone made the comment before me "This thing sounds ridiculous". Another person said "what a crazy sound." All align with what I'm feeling listening to this right now.
I can't think of a reissue in recent memory where I was just floored.
You can hear everything so clearly and with depth.
Feels like it's the first time I've heard this.
This is a pressing threshold to aim for. -

If you want to be in the mood for The Cure, this is the perfect record. The recording is so textured and rich, this pressing does it justice. If you see this record just buy it. It’s worth every penny. Highly recommended! -
Edited 3 months agoI was stoked when I heard this was to be a 2 LP pressing.
Only to find upon listening this remaster is way too bass heavy and when comparing to 1st UK and AUS pressings, it's just really muddied it up. Such a shame.
Don't get me wrong it's not bad by any means, but it definitely falls short of what it could be.
Despite the extra tracks I will listen to the originals over this version any day.
This needs The Rhino Hi Fidelity Kevin Gray treatment we just got for Television's Marque Moon....
