This is in my collection since it was released. As already stated below. The drum programming of Firekeeper is very good. I like this track from start to end and also play it like that when using it in a dj set. The excellent drum programming, the huge chords combined with this subtile acid line just makes it what it is: An uplifting Detroit Techno classic.

Two amazing tracks - totally disagree with a couple of comments- I think some people don’t quite get subtlety and rhythm.

Baj- this may be the worst take on the whole of techno discogs! No hook?!? The last half is full of keyboard solos. Fire keeper is a last track monster

I'm not a huge fan of the Red Planet sound. But there are some releases that are worth picking up not as centerpieces but as good ingredients or tools. This record is one of them.

Firekeeper: Some killer drum programming and pads here but lacks a real "hook". Given the 10 minute duration though a creative DJ can use it for what they want. The Octave One remixed B-side is not "original" by any means but it's a really nice faceless/minimal techno banger.

Firekeeper has to be a classic. One of the finest pieces made by The Martian. It has an ongoing warm techno vibe with alot of funk in it. But the strings really make this track so special. Dancefloor killer for sure!

The B side also contains only one track. This one is not very special. Just a great techno track, but not as original like Firekeeper.
