Identifiers: disk has 100mm center labels, earlier pressings have 92mm center labels. Catalogue number above 'ST(EREO)/33(rpm)' indicator (the first two pressings show the indicator above the catalogue number). This pressing has the rim text 'Urheber- und Leistungsschutzrechte...' starting close to the label logo using caps only, earlier pressings use regular typeface style beginning close to the catalogue number.
This version has double pressing rings and dots on both sides. There is a very similar version where Side A has double pressing rings with no dots and Side B has a single pressing ring which can be found here: The World's Best

This is a great sounding album with an nice mix of song. I had a needle drop of this album and was impressed by its sound so I bought the original LP. I compared this album to my 70's UK Beatles albums and it has the same great sound but with a little more vocal emphasis. The vocals really sparkle as well as guitars have more of a bite in the solos. You can get a NM for $20-30 and that is a great deal. -
An interesting German compilation with a trippy cover from the Strawberry Fields Forever shoots and an eclectic tracklist of songs from all eras of the Beatles until this point, although 1964-1965 is definitely the focus. As for the record itself, it sounds good and includes the "hi-hat" intro for All My Loving which was edited out of US and UK issues but included in continental European and Japanese pressings. Overall I think this is a unique compilation that while not "essential" for any Beatles collector, would make a fine addition to any collection if it can be found.
