This album by the fantastic project Raison D'être is perhaps one of the finest moments.
The tracks all seem to blend together, but also stand on their own as individual pieces
of artistic creation.
Track 1. The Awakening is a really beautiful piece, with pan-pipes galore, and beautiful water rushing. Truly, this is meditative music at it's best.
The rest of the album is just as good, but with some darker moments, such as the awesome Narrow Gate (track no.4).
All in all, Enthralled by the Winds of Loneliness is quite possibly the project's best effort to date, even though the release
is a rather old one, it does not show, and it certainly is one of Cold Meat Industry's better releases for that time period also.
Do yourself a favor and pick this beautiful album up. -
Edited 15 years agoThis album has some of my favourite songs of raison d'être's discography: "In Loneliness" and "Sophrosyne".
