    Of the five records, I have only listened to the first two so far. The first album, originally released by Hispavox, is a very poorly done rip from the original vinyl. The sound quality is quite bad and it’s clear that it wasn’t done professionally. As for the second album, it sounds very flat and lacks the depth and richness one would expect from a quality recording.

    This box set has been quite a disappointment, especially for a collector who values high-fidelity audio and proper archival standards. The anticipation was high for a collection like this, particularly with the association to Bill Wyman Archives, but the execution has fallen short. The poor quality of the vinyl rip and the flat sound of the second album make me concerned about the overall quality of the remaining records in the set.

    For collectors and audiophiles, the integrity of the source material and the quality of the recordings are paramount. Discovering that these albums do not meet those standards is disappointing. It’s essential to ensure that such releases maintain a high level of quality, both in the source material and the reproduction, to truly honor the music and satisfy dedicated fans and collectors.
