i have the first four important genesis albums on CD…..the LP’s sound much nicer and warmer. pressing and reproduction is very good. highly recommended.
-
This pressing has committed the crime of splitting the former B3 track The Cinema Show/Aisle of Plenty lasting 12:40, into B3 & B4, which itself would be okay if the cut was in the proper moment, B3 should end at 11:01 making 1:39 for B4.
-
Good sounding disc, especially considering it's 53 min of music on a single disc. Maybe the best way to digest the 2008 remix since it's less bright than the (SA)CD versions. Pressing and print quality is good too.
-
Just compared this remix to a UK 1st press and it sounds very flat and lifeless in comparison .
It just lacks that beautiful , shimmering sound of the original . -
Look at 2008 isn't there something similar about the two of these... Just the 2008 was done AT A BETTER PRESSING PLANT
-
Very happy with this. My original was always a bit muddy. This is clear with Great dynamics. Nice separation, good bottom end and there’s stuff happening i’ve not heard before. A bargain.
