Edited 7 months agoLight surface noise, light storage wear. Looks never played. Powerlines is a bit of a tight fit for my record needle. Got it for $65AUD at a record fair. Thank you Nate. https://www.thevinylguide.com/about

I can see why people would want to buy this for the sake of variant/discography collecting, but the aftermarket prices are simply not worth it if you're one to care about sound quality. The pressing sounds average at best, although to my ears, I notice a lot of tracks suffer from "digital noise" and compression that causes the actual music to sound crackly and distorted during the louder parts of most songs. It also seems to have generated a lot of surface noise in those climatic sections on my used copy, although it probably means I just have to give it a proper series of wet cleans.

Anyone selling the 12" with the "Let It Happen (Soulwax Remix)" on it, separate from the whole boxset? I am looking for that one specifically, please me.

Edited 5 years agoOriginally I had bought the standard edition 2xLP, which sounded very muddy to my ears, and I can confirm that this release sounds miles better.
The sound is clear and punchy, and the vinyl itself is noticeably heavier and sturdier. Love the deep marble color. Excellent packaging as well and tons of nice features, though the flexidisc sounds a bit scratchy. Might just need a cleaning.
Definitely recommended if you can get your hands on a copy. Classic album that deserves a good pressing -

Having owned both this version and the standard black US release, I would definitely say this version sounds superior. Vinyl feels heavier and plays much better

Excellent quality and extras in the box. Love the red marble color of the vinyl and the small notebook with the lyrics and sketches of the lyrics.
The sound is also very good, can only recommend this version.
