I found this under the zappa records at a record store for 28 dollars in September. Sounds AMAZING. I would recommend buying, only if you can get it at a reasonable price.

Edited 6 years agoNo complaints on my end. Sounds good, plays nice and flat, recommended for those who don't want to pay for the outrageous prices of an OP

Edited 7 years agoFirst , I have to it I was pissed off, when I tore off the shrink wrap with a hype sticker sayin « ...plus the complete Libretto « to see NO Libretto inside the LP .... I’m getting used to be deceived by brand new vinyl records.... for many reasons, including scratches, noise , bad sound , missing record (in a 3 record box set , having 2 disc # 1 and 1 disc #3 ) and now missing insert ... (Mr. Bungle , Butthole Surfers , Björk, Supertramp ,Big Boys ,Nick Cave ,Tom Waits , Tool , Metallica...) BUT...This pressing of Absolutely Free is Totally Top Notch !!! Amazing Mastering and High Quality pressing ! Get it ! ( just hope you’ll have your insert with it !!!) Also , side 4 etching has a clear white label ...And the image is Far from the pic advertisied on zappa.com ... this sucks... but the sound is terrific!

The best out of all of the new zappa represses, absolutely(heh) no snap crackle or pop nowhere. The packaking is very accurate and sturdy, the sound quality is stunner. Thanks BG, you did a great job mastering this. The second lp is a bit useless, but its great zappa fan-stuff. the booklet is killer, despite the order of the songs(or parts) is odd. The only bad thing was that i had to wait a long time for this.
