This pressing is excellent - incredibly dynamic with fantastic separation and no quality control issues. -
Not a good pressing, some songs sounds distorted and all of the discs comes with dirt right from the sleeve -

Superb album, not a duff track; worthy of the 2018 Mercury prize.
Excellent pressing with none of the problems mentioned in another review. -
Edited 7 years agoSome nice songs on this album of indie noise pop, some weak songs. Not a good recording either - quite a lot of congestion and distortion in some tracks. Saying that this is the lofi intention is not convincing, this music would offer so much more to the listener if you could actually hear it. Ultimately I think that Wolf Alice have a malfunctional quality filter. This is not helped by the band naming itself after a great Angela Carter short story; talk about hubris.
