Has anyone in the UK bought a decent pressing of this recently (without clicks/pops) and if so, where from? Tried a couple copies from Rough Trade and it was like sitting next to a camp fire with all the surface noise.
-
anyone else have one with a runoff that says "XLLP 318" and "J Powell" on both sides and nothing else? I think J Powell is Jeff Powell of Take Out Vinyl, but I cant find any information on this release. Let me know

I bought the US copy at Barnes & Noble, no surface noise at all. Not as punchy as the CD but the clarity of the instruments is nice to hear

Can anyone comment on the quality of this US pressing? The UK/Europe pressing in print is horrible, lots of surface noise throughout
