Great release, excellent packaging, the printed inner sleeves with art work are a nice touch. My record is quite noisy however, its not the worst but it certainly has audible pops and crackle's at quieter sections. Ive owned mines since new.

Overall still worth a buy, especially for the extra tracks. Try to avoid high prices though....

Theres no doubting the mastering on this kicks ass. Its rich and smooth and easily matches the excellent 2013 UK issue. The vinyl is mostly quiet if not quite as near silent as the 2013. Only in a few spots is it intrusive. The blue colour is lovely and the extra tracks fascinating. It would make a very decent standalone album even if its not at the sheer bonfide genius level of the main record.

Packaging is decent enough, just needed poly sleeves to keep the discs better protected.

All in all a lovely package!

Bought new upon release, my copy is full of pops and clicks throughout, even after a good spin clean. They’re a definite distraction in the quieter sections. I guess I got unlucky given how people swear by this pressing. My OG sounds better.

Had this shelved for a while so pulled it out for a recent play - where it’s good it’s phenomenal but…..there is distortion present in some parts (not the music obvs) - as a force of habit I put everything through a pro-ject cleaning system before playing - the disc is immaculate and my cartridge regularly cleaned so the fault is in the pressing which is a shame - if 100% of it sounded as good as the best bits I’d agree with the comments but unfortunately it’s let down here and there by pressing issues - maybe I was unlucky…

To middlepillar (and other curious folks), in answer to your question about differentiating between the black vinyl and the blue vinyl, the hype sticker should indicate blue vinyl.

I posted the same comment on the 3lp black version...
Can anyone help identify the cause of this issue ive had?
I bought this album at sunrise records for like 70 dollars. I was under the impression it was the blue version because its 3 lps, made in the uk, and the barcode and matrix number listed on the outer packaging all match up to that version.
Upon opening i saw what i feared i would, it was just black, and the 2cds d as being included on the sticker (store applied sticker, not factory) were not present....
i guess my question is how does one identify that it is the blue version? Will it be listed as so on the blue hype sticker? And the cds... i imagine the price listed by the store was reflective of the fact that it was supposed to include the cds. I bought it under that impression and based on the matching numbers that i believed were an indication of it being the coloured vinyl.
The store says they will exchange it for another copy that “feels like it has the cds inside” or i could get store credit.
Should cash back not be offered? Seeing as I wouldn’t have bought it and shelled out near 100 dollars if i didnt think it was this version. I get if i just mixed up the versions but there were no cds inside.. id have just bought the standard reissue if i knew that it would be like this :/
