This 2019 universal sound orange reissue sounds good all in all but on the copy I have on the last cut ‘sixth house’ it sounds like the sax is heavily sidechained to the piano and bass, so much so that the piano and bass duck severely when the sax is playing. It definitely doesn’t seem like it’s done on purpose, but I’ve never heard an OG copy to compare. Has anyone else had issues with this track sounding like this?
