IN THE BEGINNING... back in 1955... man didnt know bout no rock and roll show... and all that jive...

Edited 25 days agoI haven't checked stereo on one side vs mono on the other yet, but the release listed as the 81 NZ version in a sleeve without Code 32 or manufactured in NZ etc on the back of it (as mentioned in the notes above) is most likely the NZ record issued in an Australian sleeve/cover. Most Australian EMI/Albert releases have Code 304 printed on the spine, aside from the 89 reissues which were done by CBS/Albert's. I've come across a few of these 'mix ups' for other pressings too. Probably just Albert Productions u excess sleeves/covers in a similar way that they used up excess labels (resulting in, for example, an 87 repress having one side with the 87 label and one side with the 83).
-
It'll most likely be a 1987 reissue - Albert's would have used up leftover labels, hence the 87 label on one side and the 83 on the other.
-
Can’t fault this pressing. Flat quiet vinyl. Great value for money. Cover and inner alittle flimsy, that aside a nice muscular punchy soundstage.
