Madonna – The Immaculate Collection

Reviewing every record in my collection;

Wow, the sound of this Argentinian repressing is amazing. I'm from said country and bought it just because I like to the national Industry so that more and more records are produced here, but I'm more than pleased with the end result. The Gatefold and sleeve are great, Plaza Independencia is slowly but steadily getting better at printing and quality material. Sound wise it's as good as the European repressing I own. The only differences with a regular repressing are that there's no Inner Sleeves, only regular Inserts (an already common practice with the label's releases) and that the vinyl labels are different to any other pressing. If those are reasons enough for you to wanna get them then go for it, If not you're not missing much. For us Argentinians these releases are god sent since imports here are really expensive, so to have them available at an actually reasonable price is more than welcomed.

Also, since it came out it has, so far, been really difficult to find copies for sale even here in Argentina. Maybe there will be a more widely available release in the next few weeks, but if not, I can clearly see how this may become somewhat of a rare item in the future

Sounds amazing and dynamic. Haven’t brought it out in a long time to compare thoroughly but definitely beats my original pressing that sounded somewhat thin.

I mean for $25 even a casual fan has to be impressed with this tracklist! Just a fun album to pop on and get stuff done to

Two copies purchased from Amazon in March 2025 had considerable warps. They still play OK, but with a little motion of the ocean.

While there are decent copies of this on sale for well under £20, there's no reason to buy any of the reissues. This is one of the best sounding records I own. Think I paid about £5 for mine because it had a bashed corner but was otherwise in NM condition. Feels silly to review something so well known, but it's one of the best selling records of all time for a reason.

I think the Runout grooves are listed wrong, at least on my copy are: 1-26440-1-SRI KPG@ATM, 1 26440-2-SRI KPG@ATM, 1-26440-3-SRI KPG@ATM, 1-26440-4-SRI KPG@ATM. Anyone can confirm the release date?
