A funky ride with nice performances from all players, although the melodies could have been more memorable. Still worthwhile. Excellent pressing. -
Edited 2 years agoMine is terrible... static distortion in the pressing, can hear it throughout all of it, not happy. -
Edited 2 years agoSounds great overall, but side one has a cyclical 'whoosh' most apparent in between tracks but in quieter ages as well. Anyone else experience this? Some repeated pops on side two as well. Don't any issues with the latest 'The Man With the Horn.'

For some reason, my copy of this has the label in Orange -
I had originally given this two stars, but I gave just added a third after listening to the opening groove off of "What It Is." Definitely the best riff from Miles' later period. -
A very funky album from the king of jazz -
Decoy is a studio album that showed Miles was still listening to contemporary black music and making it very personal.
