I was at this concert, it was truly amazing. I met Peter Jennings ( television journalist who served as the sole anchor of ABC World News Tonight from 1983 until his death from lung cancer in 2005) at the bar in Carnegie Hall. Had nice coversation with him. May he rest in peace.

Do not buy this at Amazon. Yeah it’s cheaper ($39 with tax) but they put it inside a plastic bag from Amazon (twice! After asking them not to). Besides monopolizing the world (shame on me), they don’t know how to handle vinyl.

Perfect, good sound, good pressing (180g), and of course very good musicians.

Listening to the masterpieace as I write this. Don't own the 2008 versions so I cant compare.
Great sound quality as expected. Not dead quiet but nothing serious or that damages the playback (please note that im listening on Studio monitors).
I have the feeling that the 2008 EU version must be slightly better.
Sad with the booklet, could include more about the group (just 2 pages with brief comments of all the elements and a "story" of the concert and lets say social environment around Buena Vista).
I would rate the records 9/10.
The package (with the booklet) 7/10 - disappointed with the booklet, considering the very nice one on the studio version.

Anyone know if this is 180 or 200g vinyl? Thanks

Hadn’t played this one in a while. Fabulous pressing. Great depth and clarity in sound. Much warmer than the CD version

This release is well worth the money, the included sleeves are good, overall a solid pressing!

This is the ideal way to listen to this recording. Mastered by BG. What’s not to like?

Perfect pressing and sound. Many of other labels can learn here - it’s possible for that money. Bernie Grundman did a fantastic job and the others made possible to let us hear it.
