U2 – No Line On The Horizon

Those are definitely Grundman's signature "BG" initials in the run-out. A nice sounding cut & one of the best audio-wise of any U2 first pressings. An overall underrated album in their catalog.

This remastered pressing is leagues ahead of the original pressing in mixing, instrument separation, depth and warmth. A brilliant, dead-silent pressing. Great packaging, beautiful clear vinyl.

Great sounding pressing and lovely clear vinyl, though one of my disks has a white 5mm bit of flotsam that spoils the look a little but plays fine/clean/quiet. Side D: as my son just said, "what, did they lose a bet?" - just long and tedious, particularly Magnificent. The remixes for U2 started at the point the group was running out of great B-sides - would have been better to have the alternate single version of No Line On The Horizon... I'll Go Crazy is better of two but lacks the energy of the live version this became.

The only U2 record that’s captured my imagination since the 90’s. It has its flaws (I’m looking squarely at you, ‘I’ll Go Crazy Tonight’) but at least they decided to roll the dice with some experimentation.
Sounds great and the pressing is flawless.
No need for the rather lame remixes on side 4 though, surely a couple of live tracks from the tour would have been better choices.

I think I'm seeing a "BG" in the deadwax on my copy anybody else see this?

Picked this up recently, my intro to the album. Right off the bat I must say this is one of the prettiest discs I’ve come across, really tasteful. Sound wise, I am satisfied with the dead silent pressing and clear instrument separation. Another quality U2 release for me, they’ve been knocking out all their 2018-2021 pressings out of the park.

Blown away by the sound of this pressing. Nothing compares to the way this record sounds. It is unbelievable!

I could not believe how great of this new remastered vinyl. I always like this album but never be impressed with the sound quality of the original CD which was compressed to hell and sound very thin, flat and lack of dynamic. But this remastered vinyl resurrected this great album once again. It feels like a completely new album/new mix with more warm and dynamic sound and wide opend soundstage which made me appreciate this album so much more in the way I never feel before. Buy it and you'll not be disappointed.

I miss Soon from this double release.
Soon could be featured as extra song rather than the two techno versions on D side :(
