Max Richter – The Blue Notebooks

I have this 2015 pressing and the new one from 2025. I find this black version quieter than the crystal clear version which tends to show imperfections when you turn up the volume. I think for fans you should own both versions because I have the signed version.

GReat quality but i have a problem on track "On The Nature Of Daylight (Orchestral Version) " on Side C; I have noise on this track only.
I don't feel like I have a scratch on it, I was wondering if it was the master. Do you also have surface noise on this track?

I'm glad to have the item but I think this style of music is best listened to digitally in order to turn up the volume, which is impossible on vinyl without having listening disturbances.

I have the 2015 black pressing, which sounds much better at high volumes. The 2015 pressing has fewer imperfections. Those in the know will understand that crystal clear pressings are rarely of audiophile quality. It's still a worthwhile purchase for newer tracks.

Absolutely beautiful pressing! Both records arrived flat and played with zero surface noise, pops or clicks. Music sounds full and dynamic, every single track is a pleasure to listen to. Definitely will keep this on my top releases of the year!

This is a beautiful pressing which is such a relief after the tragedy of In A Landscape. I have the 2018 remaster also and just bought this for the bonus tracks, and that alone is so worth it. D3 is absolutely stunning, and takes an already beautiful piece of music and elevates it to an almost gospel level of depth. D4 is very slow and gentle and quite emotive with the beautiful piano. A worthwhile purchase of an eternal record.

After a minimal clean, no pops or noise at all. Really good release

Sounds really great to me, this vinyl is fairly quiet in a lot of spots yet I can barely notice any surface noise and the Gatefold sleeve is great too, the little commentary on the inside of the sleeve is a nice addition too. Just pretty great overall with nothing to complain about.

My copy is perfect excellent sound. Great music except for side D which doesn't fit in with the rest of the music

Unfortunately, the second disc is damaged, so the first tracks are not played. Nothing has changed after cleaning.
