'Back to Black' is the second studio album by English recording artist Island Records.
It incorporates 1960s soul music styles and modern R&B production, with subjective lyrics that concern relationships and reflect on Winehouse's experiences with drinking, sex, and drugs. The album produced several singles, including 'Rehab', 'You Know I'm No Good', 'Back to Black', 'Tears Dry on Their Own', and 'Love Is a Losing Game'.
'Back to Black' received positive reviews from most music critics, earning praise for its classicist soul influences, Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson's production, and Winehouse's songwriting and emotive singing style. At the 50th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony, 'Back to Black' won five awards, tying the record (with Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé Knowles, Norah Jones, and Alison Krauss) for the second-most awards won by a female artist in a single ceremony. As virtually all pressings of this album are apparently as as pleasant as visiting a roadside toilet in , I tried this one. Giving myself a pat on the back for that. Sounds and looks the bizz -

This pressing sounds great. Quiet on side one, some noise on side two but another clean might fix that. The album sounds amazing and the color is beautiful. For the price and the availability, anyone looking to discover or revisit this album should pick it up. This album has aged so well it’s almost funny, and this pressing does it justice -

I don't have comparisons to be able to judge it well, but it doesn't seem to me that this print sounds very good. It seems a bit dark, flat and distorted when they shoot the winds. It's also a bit dirty and noisy. Maybe I was unlucky. -
A disappointing press. Mine sounds somewhat scratchy all the way through as if I'm listening to a cassette. Audio has little depth. The vinyl looks great but I don't think it's the best quality audio wise. I'll be buying myself a plain black copy I think.
