Edited 4 months agoIt sounds good and everything for a live recording. That said though I’m not a fan of live rap show recordings especially. And this one is more of a rock/rap show which I dislike more. Too much guitar. IMO just find studio cuts of rap albums. they will always sound better, and more true to what you would expect. -
Pity the sleeve designer couldn't spell "Australia" on the back cover -
It’s not the most dynamic pressing but it’s a 2003 live concert recording. I have to turn the volume up pretty high to hear it well. However, the vinyl is dead quiet and the packaging is very good. -
Edited one year agoGrowing up with PE, I was curious what a live set sounded like, and this doesn't disappoint; great set here. Fun packaging touches include the CDs looking like LPs with "sleeves" and a thick gatefold outer with obi. This would have been even better with an accompanying video, especially to see Flav performing his drum solo, among other things.
