Not a terrible press. Somewhat noisy, which is mostly likely the color vinyl's doing. Nonetheless, the swirl looks right cool on the turntable which makes up for the lackluster sound. Couldn't for 13.99 at Sunrise Records

From what I've read, Mick Jagger's live vocals were erased and replaced on all but two songs, but almost everything else you hear on this record is as it sounded to the audience. This 1970 pressing sounds surprisingly good for a live recording from that era - bass and drums have plenty of oomph, and the guitars of Richards and Taylor burst out of the speakers. My copy plays like a champ, nice and clean, with scarcely any surface noise at all.

I usually find German pressings solid if not great, but not this one. It’s muddy, veiled and flat. It’s cut quiet. Lows are decent.

After a clean and rinse with my Spin-Clean, this is a great pressing. The sound is good, to my ears anyway. I listening to an OG copy when first released, and found it sounded like an audience recording in parts, better in others. This still sounds like that to me, but it’s a good clean, noise free release, especially being coloured vinyl.

My copy is flat, clean and quiet. The striping of the vinyl leans a bit more candy cane than true red and white.

The bottom end and low mid do feel compressed and slightly muddy. Also, the overall volume and dynamic output of the pressing could have benefitted from the mastering faders being pushed up. I feel like I'm in the outfield at the concert.
The last two songs on Side A are representative of how the rest of the songs "could have been" situated.

The pressing is generally tight, narrow, but a fun listen.
It grows on you.

Fortunately, mine was clean out of the sleeve. Very impressed with GZ on this one. Good mastering all around. Recommend it if you can get it for a good price.

Vinyl is noisy. Pressing sounds pretty good. A bit muddy on the low end in my estimation. Jagger vocals are strong. A Czech Republic pressing which can be sketchy, however the vinyl is flat and centered. A Bob Ludwig mastering. Worth grabbing for a reasonable price.
