Kate Bush – The Red Shoes

This is the flimsiest piece of vinyl I own and there's too much music on each side but it actually sounds pretty considering, very listenable. I'd like to get a 2 LP version but prefer her earlier stuff and this is a good enough recording that's a low priority.

DAMN DAMN DAMN. This pressing is so goooood. I love that they reissued all of her work with such care.

Gorgeous packaging, beautiful vinyl color and great sound. If only all artists and record labels cared this much. Do not hesitate, and I feel confident every other title in the series is just as good.

Lovely packaging, colored vinyl, and mostly lovely sound. Eat the Music is louder, and Kate's singing is more sibilant compared to the rest of the album (where there's a little throughout), which I'm not sure why.

Sounds wonderful, been imagining this album on a translucent red for a long time and it’s so exciting that we finally got it!

Excellent pressing. The sibilance on the previous versions, the 2018 remaster and the original, is mostly gone. It's the best copy on vinyl I've heard.

Can anybody comment if “Eat the Music” sounds any better on this pressing? My 2018 press is very sibilant.

It’s not often I’m impressed by a remaster compared to an original, but I am totally bowled over by the quality of this pressing…it’s as quiet as the grave, no surface noise, superb throughout the whole tonal range, rich deep bass (but not overdone) crystal clear vocals without a trace of harshness, bags of detail and separation…hats off to the team who remastered this great album.

The sound on my copy is excellent, beautiful mastering and a quiet pressing.

My copy of this has a pattern etched on to part of the disc, which looks like some kind of ribbon? Anyone come across this before?
