OutKast – Speakerboxxx / The Love Below

I just picked up what I believe to be this pressing. I thought it was a sealed copy of the 1st pressing due to the sticker being identical to the OG. I’m new to the world of vinyl records. Is that a common thing for represses to be released with the original promo sticker?

Also I’m a bit confused because the matrix runout is different on my copy and while the track “My favorite things” is missing in the track listing and the center sticker, the track is audibly present on my copy?

Looks like the record was not stored well and is slightly warped and has what appears to be some smudges and rashes on the vinyl itself but overall sounds really nice.

is there any vinyl pressing that *has* my favorite things on it? i enjoy that jazzy track but, can't tell what pressing actually have it.

My copy came with two side G and H LPS and is missing the side C and D LP. Did this happen to anyone else?

10/10 pressing. Sounds great. The music is great. And my favorite things being on this version makes it that much better.

to my ears this is one of the very best double albums in all of music. two discs that are entirely their own things but go together beautifully as one unified package by arguably the greatest group / duo in all of hip hop. big boi's speakerboxxx is a tour de force of early 2000's contemporary hip hop with that special southern flava to it, very few if any weak songs although the interludes can ruin the momentum of the speakerboxxx disc. Andre 3000's The Love Below to me is one of the very best musical works of the 21st century thus far and is without a doubt a magnum opus for Andre 3000. He really managed to pull off one hell of a unique blend of funky electro pop / jazz & soul, very much a special brew with that signature charm, innovative & idiosyncratic style of Andre 3000. Not a single weak or bland moment on The Love Below.

This is now sold out on Get On Down. I’m glad I got a copy.

This pressing does not have "My Favorite Things' on it, nor "The Letter" transition (which I've never heard, as it was added after I bought my original CD version.) The 2019 CD reissue, OutKast - Speakerboxxx / The Love Below, also seems to omit MFT. Did a rights issue come up, regarding the Coltrane material?

I just gave this a 2nd spin to determine if I should keep it and; it sounds simply incredible with perfect clarity and depth, sibilance free. This is DEAD silent aside from a single baby-pop somewhere and just ~1 second of surface noise during the outro for one of the Love Below tracks. This is /the/ way to hear this album in my estimation.

There is a pressing defect on side F with “prototype” and “lips”. It’s pretty bad on my copy. I was told it’s an across the board issue. So I’ve opted not to return for replacement. You have been warned lol!
