can anyone confirm what mix is on this 7"? ive never owned an OG 7", and my copy of "The Original" 12" is long gone, so i dont have anything to compare it to. only asking because the first track has some serious compression and reverb on the drums (like, really mid-80s style glam/hair metal effects), while the rest of the songs sound rough and raw, how one would expect an ep recorded in a cheap studio in the early 80s with almost no budget would.
is this an exclusive mix? or is this one of the previous ones? only wondering because this is the only way ill ever afford their 1st EP, cos im not buying one of the recent RSD pressings as i have no interest in revisionist remastered crap as, made 40+ years after the fact.. -

Excellent (and overdue) reissue. Sounds like what it is - a teenage Bad Religion. My copy doesn’t have any skating issues

My version of this EP is a red label 12" from 1981. I do not see it listed. -

According to the record store day website there were 1,000 of these but this says 500.

there are rumors about a first pressing batch of 500 copies with "...you are" runout etchings in Side AA instead of the common "Elipses U.R."
does anyone here own such a copy?
i am in doubt that it even exists since it never shows up anywhere.
since "U.R." is an common abbrevation for "you are" this may be just a misinterpretation. -

Greetings and salutations. I was simply wondering if anyone could shed some light on this EP. The fansite thebrpage.net has very little info. Neither does the seller on eBay at the moment. If only I could afford it. Anyway, The Original Bad Religion 12", please discuss.
