Funkstörung – Additional Productions

IMO the best version of Additional Productions containing the track All Is Full Of Love (Secondotted By Funkstörung) with Bjork, to my understanding only released on the CD single for the track. I enjoy the track order better as well as the 2 other tracks not on the official release. I believe this is a Musik Aus Strom release. Foam packaging is alittle funny :)

Is the tracklisting incorrect on anyone else's copy? Mine has the bjork remix on the same disc as the wutang remix(opposite side)

This is a great set of Funkstorung remixes. Funkstorung is the team of Cris Deluca and Michael Fakesch. Some stand-outs are Bjork's "All is Full of Love", and the duo's play on hip-hop legends of Wu-Tang like Ol'Dirty Bastard.
I absolutely love when Funkstorung turn up the bpm and you really can get a sense of their complexity when it comes to beat editing, like on the closer of this album, "S'Apex-Henryk". Emotinally charmed melodies and flawlessly chopped beats also will define the albums opening remix of "Visit Venus - Children Of The Rave Solution".

Funkstörung have never been shy about wearing their IDM on their sleeve, and now, with ADDITIONAL PRODUCTIONS, they don’t have to… they can wear IDM on other people’s sleeves! They take on hip-hop (East Flatbush Project’s “Tried by Twelve” or their downtempo-to-drill ‘n’ bass take of Wu-Tang Clan’s “Reunited”) and transform it to abstraction effortlessly. There’s a hint of jazz on their take of Finitribe’s “Mind Your Make Up” (but just a hint), and And although their revision of Bjork’s “All is Full of Love” might be a bit overexposed at this point, it’s still a beautiful track.
