what were they thinking back in 93 when this came out? they should have pressed this on 2LP. the album is WAY too long for a single LP release 😥

I have this got from second hand shop. Yes it is pressed really low volume. And must be mega compressed to get 40mins on one side. No crackle on mine no skips or sticks which is a miracle. Only a few clicks here n there. It’s a strange release. Not gatefold no inner sleeve. Or info
Paid £40 which is a lot. But the record sounds good.

It really does have to be a very clean copy to play well fortunately i picked up mine as a 3 record deal along with dead ringer & original bat out of hell for £11 posted , Put them on my cleaner and wow can only say they all play superb and i really did enjoy the listen maybe the ortofon 2m bronze and project perspective have helped along with vintage sansui amp.

Worst sounding record ever. Mastered at a ridiculously low volume. Sound is compressed as hell. My copy is mint so I can’t complain about crackling but if you have anything below mint, you’ll just endure 75 min through hell (ironic isn’t it ?)

Quality pressing and exceptional remastering that sounds impressive . .

Latest batch to land in NZ have arrived warped with disc one looking like a pudding bowl.
After several attempts managed to find one in acceptable condition.
This certainly rights the wrongs of the decidedly average OG pressing.
Top notch mastering and production.
An absolute joy to listen to.
