Great album of free jazz. I wasn’t a big chick corea fan, but I love Braxton, so once I heard this I for sure had some respect for corea. If you love this type of music then pick this up if you see it in the wild or right now on discogs haha. Vinyl sounds great too. Quiet and the music has space for your mind to slip in between the sounds. The digital is horrible compared to this. Anyways, do your best to change yourself so you can experiment with ideas you’d never think of. This music helps a lot as well as meditation and astral projection. Fly high and far my friends! -
This is a very underrated album that deserves a repress. The musicians are amazing! A great record! -
I picked this up because I was curious how these 180g reissues are. The answer, in this case, is pretty good, but not as good as the Warner pressings (in this case, Circle (5) - Paris - Concert), which are truly excellent, in my experience. As often with more recent reissues, there seems to have been some very slight loss of high-end on the tapes, with the result that this one has a bit less air and delicacy. -
I know a few Zappa nuts from high-school that have this album in their collections. A perfect quartet, balanced musically and, at least on this, idea-wise. I met CC at a very early RTF show, with Bill Connors and he was very pleasant as I told him what a fan I was of Circle- and then his "manager" yanked him away...CC gave me a wry look, like "sorry, gotta go!"...
