Unbelievable sounding stereo mix by Rudy. I love this and prefer it over the mono. Ray’s latin-feel congas really add that “live in the room with the band” feel to it. Get yourself an original stereo copy if you have the chance!

Really bad pressing, the reviews are true here. So much noise it is unbearable to listen to on my system.

QC seems to be disappointing for this album. The mixing is brilliant, but my copy has some inexcusable loud ticks and scratch sounds even though the album was brand new and the surface was untouched.

There is a misprint on the label of side B, stating that it is Somethin' Else by Cannonball Adderley.

Is it the same mastering as the previous Blue Note Classic edition? I'm assuming so but I just wanted to confirm this is an all-analog pressing. Thanks.

Flat, relatively quiet and mastering is as per the excellent 2021 release. Pressing wise, mine is very good. Side B has a few ticks on the last 2 tracks and in between songs but they’re minimal and do not distract from the music. Overall this is a great release and the Blue vinyl looks gorgeous.
