Logically, this issue is part of the Trojan US series 'Classic Reggae Recordings' (2001-2003). (The logo of the series is located on the front, left hand side). If you have this edition, and could confirm, that would be appreciated.

Mastered by Tim Debney who worked with Lee Perry in later years in the UK. This guy knows how to treat reggae music. The sound is wonderful and the extra CD is also full of great tunes. Comes with a insert full of information. Very recommendable.

Edited 6 years agoI can't understand why fellow collectors complain about this pressing.
What i mean is that compared to other reissue labels, Sunspot put some effort on curing this one by:
1) printing a pretty decent quality cover
2) giving Michael De Koningh the duty to write an essay which is printed on the insert.
3) ressing this reissue in at Optimal Media GmbH (which should be itself a quality guarantee);
Sure, it sounds a bit flat but hey, 1970s reggae records weren't recorded with the best equipment and weren't (still) mixed with the highest standards available.

Mine has the label, on the B side, with bubbles. It was not well sticked. The bass is a little louder but nothing to be scared of
