Rock singer Roger Peterson stepped on the peak of the idol craze of 2002 from the talent show and knew so the sympathy of the skeptical part of the Dutch population. A State-of-the-art marketing of these Rockacedemiestudent, which managed to make use of the publicity machine of Idols, without being subject to the laws of the program. The rock ballad Happy?, performed by Rogers band Intwine, then grew into one of the biggest hits of that year. On the debut album Intwine proves that the merciless hard can rock. Like their main competitors, the Hague rockers of Kane, embroiders Intwine on on it (post) grunge sound of groups like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Live, a reggae-trip as Hello Again. In 2003 it is not really the most exciting sound but in the genre, which remains popular in Netherlands unchanged, is awarded with the absolute top. The band plays tight and dynamic and Roger has a convincing rocks trot, with which he in Sorry and Thin Ice even a chilling oerschreeuw at best knows how to give. Netherlands is a toprockband.
