The 3 P.M. Electro track seems to incorporate elements from Bad Boy Orchestra - Hip Hop Salsa

Edited 2 years agoAn acid house era ambient house/Balearic classic, they perfectly captured the abstract electronic music zeitgeist at the time with their Chill Out and Space albums and some of these mixes could easily companion those records.
The ‘blue Danube’ mix sounds like a lost part of ‘Chill Out’ with its dubbed out sound collage approach with acid House beats, pure ambient House.
Wonderful music of the highest quality. -
Track 1: Album Version (with crowd) lasts 3.28
Track 2: Full Version is Album Version (with crowd) that continues to Church Of The KLF which fades out shortly after it begins. Track lasts 3.47 -
Interesting that this was released on 14th January 1991, as a week later on 21st January, and considering the Orb and KLF / Patterson and Cauty connection, “Peace (In the Middle East)” by The Orb’s side project Apollo XI was released on WAU! Mr. Modo records.
Track B2 “Klonk Blip Every Trip” on this KLF 12” is solely credited to Tony Thorpe of The Moody Boys, and uses the same chanting sample as the Apollo XI track. Anyone know the source of the sample? https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/178277-Apollo-XI-Peace-In-The-Middle-East -
I'm not totally sure but I think this is the track: https://soundcloud.com/djkramer/the-klf-3am-eternal-kramers

I have 2 copies of this on vinyl. Both copies are warped and both copies have a very tight spindle hole...weird.

One Of The Many Dodgy Bootlegs Hard To Find Records Used To Sell Back In The 2000's, They Bootlegs Loads Of Tunes Back In The 00's And ed Them Off As Remixed And Real Mixes How They Got Away With It God Only Knows !

Had to mention this - if you listen to the chorus of Shirley Murdock’s “Truth Or Dare,” there is a very distinct similarity to that iconic female vocal on this KLF track (the “oh-wo-oh” part for lack of a better description).
