Kelela – Take Me Apart

Sound is incredibly crisp and clear. Awesome pressing and great album!

this is one of the most expertly mastered records in my collection. the sound stage is so wide and does complete justice to kelelas layered vocals without losing the intricacies of the production. i’ve listened to this album for years on streaming and it’s like hearing it for the first time. tiny bit of crackle on the start and end of each side which adds to the overall warmth of the listening experience in my opinion.

So happy that I got this version with Rewind & A Message in bonus ! Too bad Hallucinogen was never released on CD

Great pressing. Found a used copy for $15, cleaned it, and it sounds great, very few crackles. So glad to replace my single disc version finally

Although it's been said already, it is indeed a super quiet pressing, but you can tell it was done with taste and care: despite the album being 53 minute long and sonically very rich, this pressing is pretty refined

Beautiful, vivid colored and so complete material-wise. Kelela sounds great, deep and fresh, and so does this LP. The content is beautiful and thought out with care.

If this pressing would have been louder, it would have honestly been a perfect one! But I can't complain too much because once you turn up the volume, it sounds great.

Sounds great! Yes, it's a quiet pressing but turn it up and it's dynamic and lush. Much better than cutting it too loud and losing definition by having to compress it. Separation, clarity and bass are excellent. Quiet pressing would be an issue with a high noise floor, but the background here is near silent. Recommended, especially for the price.
