For Smile's 20th I decided to give this a spin after not hearing the album in a long while. I don't currently own any other pressings of Smile, but this pressing sounds absolutely beautiful. Everything is so clear, no distortion or sibilance at all. Genuinely one of the best sounding records I own.

Packaging wise, it's exactly the same as the UK/EU/US pressings from 2004, showcasing the artwork on the inside that accompanies each song. Really nice touch.

While I enjoy The Beach Boys version of Smile a bit more (even though it is unfinished), Brian's finalized version of it is still incredible and worth owning if you're a Beach Boys fan.

This specific record is one of my prized possessions, as I ended up finding a signed copy of this a while back.

After waiting 20 years i finally got myself a copy of this incredible record. I was actually worried that I’d built it so much over the years that the pressing would somehow be disappointing… I couldn’t have been more wrong!

It’s better than I could’ve imagined. Am so glad I’ve finally got my own copy… beautiful packaging and incredible pressing. Just wow

While an irable achievement, to finish it/this (Taylor’s) version … to me it sounds like most late stage Brian Wilson recordings …. midi/garbage, the Wonderments backing doesn’t help. Smile was fine … in its original configuration and recordings. Yes … the Beach Boys couldn’t tour it which was the problem, plus they barely played on it, so none of the Beach Boys would get royalties.

Smiley Smile was what we got, and that’s a good record to salvage the recording sessions. As we know, Brian checked out … Carl took over and everything was fine.

just pure love for this album. a late masterpiece. I own the Vinyl version of the smile sessions and it's worth to have both: Brian's 2004 version and the 2011 version of the original sessions.

Fitting capstone to entire Beach Boys discography. Period. Close quotes. Baobab House Music

This sounds incredible. Truly amazing body of work! The quality of this pressing is fantastic.

One of the best treasures in my collection! Sounds amazing with Chris Bellman mastering and the pressing is perfect. Lovely packaging and gatefold. A holy grail for Brian Wilson fans and worth it by all measures!

This one already sounds great on CD so I really would love this one reissued!
