Afrika 70* – Zombie

Overall I would say this is a good clean record. It plays good and quiet. I like this music a lot and it's fun to listen to. Im going to give it a 4 star rating. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 out of 5 is that I wish it had just a tad more brightness to it and a bit bigger of a sound stage. I find myself wanting to adjust the EQ to give it that extra needed brightness. It kind of sounds like I'm listening to streaming over bluetooth. Most likely I'm guessing this is pressed from a digital recording? Otherwise it sounds great.

Does anyone know where these Kalakuta french pressings are sourced from? I'm hoping they're analogue because I'm very disappointed with the Knitting Factory pressings.

One of my favorite records by my favorite artist. A true example of the beauty and political importance of Afrobeat.

I can't find my version of this. Mine has a logo for "Partisan Records" on the back in between the Knitting factory and Kalakuta sunrise logos and on the sleeve, the notes from Chris May appear on a black background with a picture of Fela next to them

Can music be better than this? Simply amazing, over 12 minutes of sheer quality (talking about Zombie). Just play it loud!

why cannot I find this album when I search on all albums with Tony Allen here at discogs?
