Soda Stereo – Signos

This is a great sounding CD, very transparent in my system. It is probably, and chronologically, their best recorded album up to that point in their career. Great details that I've never heard before are clearly heard. Bass and voice are nicely presented. Very good dynamic range. Very happy with this purchase.

All the songs of this album are top notch except for the song that opens it.

This is a great sounding pressing. My first one on vinyl, and was really surprised with the detail. Lot more bass than the original CD (and cassette) I had back in the day...

La versión tica de signos es un híbrido entre Signos y Nada personal, me imagino que respondió a una necesidad comercial de promoción para cuando Soda Stereo vino por el país.
Hay una versión en cassette para Chile con la misma disposición de canciones.

Unfortunately it has not the best sound. I mean, it's clear but very flat. And... it has to do with the sound quality of the master tape, in Latin America of the 80s there was no super high quality chances to record and produce music. The dynamic range is very low, sometimes fails the channel balance, some tracks sound better but it's generally flat. But good songs!!

Nice presentation and heavy vinyl. The music itself sounds nice. Unfortunately the pressing is terrible. Very loud background noise. One of the worst pressings I have encountered. I found mine for around $25 including shipping. For that price I think is worthy since this is such an important album and kind of difficult to find a different version in the US for a reasonable price.
