Profile:	NYC based record company founded by Craig Balsam. Began life as the '70s Preservation Society in the mid-1990s, marketing 1970s-themed compilations on late night TV; soon grew into selling CD compilations of other genres on TV ads (i.e. 1980s hair-metal, soft rock, 1990s alternative) and reissues; has in recent years expanded into original material and the children's market (the wildly successful Kidz' Bop franchise). In 2018, it was acquired by the Fearless Records.
