Despite owning the catalogs of many legendary labels (King, Starday, Scepter-Wand, Musicor), Gusto and their many subsidiary labels (Power Pack, Hollywood, Highland) is one of the most notorious oldies and country reissue labels out there. Cheap packaging, mediocre quality vinyl, hit and miss quality source tapes, and any LP or 45 recorded at Gusto Studios is a re-recording.
