Label was founded in 1986 by Thrash'em All. In early '90s Carnage Records has represented many European labels on Polish market, including Earache Records, Osmose Productions, and Holy Records, and issued many exclusively licensed albums of well known bands such as Samael, Napalm Death, Bolt Thrower, Dark Tranquillity, Impaled Nazarene, Morbid Angel and Entombed.
The label changed name to Empire Records to focus on original releases instead of licensed ones ending Carrion/Carnage.
