Trivia: "Red Bullet" was named after a highlighting symbol in the printed Dutch Top 40 magazine, to mark fast climbing chart entries.
The Dutch expression "met stip stijgen" (climbing with a bullet) is directly derived from this phenomenon.
Initially, the red bullet was only used internally by people in the music business.
First public use of the symbol was on July 12, 1969, when the first coloured version of the Dutch Top 40 was printed.
