Loma

Profile:

Founded in 1964 as an R&B unit of Blue Thumb Records after Loma was shut down and later led Elektra/Asylum Records in its most profitable period (ca. 1974-82).
Appears on labels as "Loma" on it's early imprints and in 1968 changed to "Loma Records"
Loma's roster included Dooto Records in 1966.

The best Loma singles, B-sides and album tracks were compiled on the Warner Archives double-CD anthology The Best of Loma Records: The Rise and Fall of a 1960's Soul Label in 1995.
