Amigo

Swedish label, founded in 1965 by brothers Jan Boquist.

In addition to the label's recording activities, Amigo licensed and represented other international independent jazz, blues and world music labels and with subsidiaries in Norway, Denmark and Finland, marketed and distributed throughout the entire region from one central warehouse in Stockholm.
Amigo was in 2000 bought by Bonnier Music, but when Bonnier decided to abandon the record business in 2009, Amigo was merged into the Cosmos Music Group.
