What a great label and if you are serious about having a proper house music collection your going to have some slip 'n' slide in there. For me, I'm only interested in vinyl so don't know to much about the CD compilation aspect of the label. I'm living in London now and most records in the Slip 'n' Slide catalogue can be got for a pound or under so I'm working on getting them all, there is some excellent gospel house and garage in there and if you want proper house at a reasonable price look no further than Slip 'n' Slide. A lot of the stuff they released over the years seems to be have been licensed from other labels mainly from stateside.

Not sure what is happening with this label, they used to pick up so many dope tracks. For the past few years they have been putting out useless compilations repackaged from older ones and have been releasing high profile artist tracks with no quality control. A real shame for a label who once held the mantle for one of premier UK House labels :(
