Sonomatrix

Recording and lacquer cutting studio in Caracas, Venezuela, founded in the mid-1960s by César Roldán. The studio was located on the same premised as pressing plant Fábrica Venezolana De Discos C.A.

Cuts are identifiable by Sonomatrix etched in the runouts, often accompanied by the cutting date and an engineer's signature.
