Opened on 11th Jan 1961 as a Jazz and Rhythm and blues club at The Railway Hotel (A.K.A.Railway Tavern), West Hampstead, London.
Located next to Decca Studios, it hosted gigs by many artists including Stevie Wonder, Elton John, John Mayall, Cream and Jimi Hendrix before closing in Jan 1970.
The Railway Hotel has since been venue to The Moonlight Club.
