MTV3

MTV3 is a Finnish commercial television station owned by the Bonnier Group (Bonnier AB). The letters MTV stand for Mainos-TV (ment television), as it was funded by the revenue from running commercials.

Number 3 was added to the name in 1993, when it became a channel of its own (previously it had its timeslots on YLE's channels).

The channel's logo was a stylized owl, changed to an owl's eye after an image renewal on September 6, 2001 (on October 3, 2005 the color of number 3 changed from red to black). The latest image renewal was made on November 3, 2013 at 7 PM (UTC+02).
