can't believe so little has been written about a label I value so much even the artwork and colour choice on their generic sleeves was amazing, Actually I am just repeating iljin 1's comment from 10 years ago but he is dead right most of the releases I like are produced by artist with latin names it feels like there was this whole other flavour coming out of new york ,very different to chicago or detroit and worthy of it's own section in your collection.

Apexton Records existed for a 10 year period between 1982-1992. When the free trade agreement was signed on December 21, 1992 the Ropiak Brothers who owned the 6 pressing machines which was Apexton, quickly abandoned the company and went back to their native country of Poland, where they also owned a pressing plant and began pressing pop music for that territory, never to be seen again.

I like much releases from Apexton and the sublabels. It's a New Yorkish, Freestylish, Ravish, Technoish melting pot. Great sleeve & centerlabel housestyle print too.
